Each X-Pedition Chest is packed with everything you need for an epic hands-on adventure! Whether you're solving a mystery, building something amazing, or launching a wild experiment, every kit is designed to make learning feel like play.
Inside Your Chest, You’ll Find:
🔎 Designed for families (or small groups) - Each kit contains supplies for two explorers. Have more explorers in your family, no problem! We can provide extra supplies for a small fee!
🎭 An Exciting Story – Join Kit & Oak on an adventure where YOU are part of the story!
🛠️ Hands-On Activities – Each adventure has 3-7 activities, fun experiments, creative builds, and cool discoveries, books, and more—everything is ready to go!
📖 Easy-to-Follow Guide – No stress, no prep—just open the chest and start exploring!
🎨 All the Supplies You Need – We mean everything from telescopes to microscopes! We include everything except a few basics (like scissors, markers, or other items you probably have at home).

How to Borrow & Use an X-Pedition Chest – It’s as Easy as 1, 2, 3!
Get ready to spark curiosity, creativity, and adventure! Borrowing an X-Pedition Chest is simple, flexible, and designed for homeschool co-ops, after-school programs, and community groups. No prep, no stress—just hands-on STEAM fun!
1️⃣ Choose & Reserve Your Kit
Browse and reserve your kit online! Each region has its own dedicated library of available chests, so you can pick from exciting, story-driven STEAM adventures tailored to your area. Whether you're cracking a forensic mystery, designing an engineering marvel, or launching a space mission, the fun begins here!
2️⃣ Pick Up & Play
Your kit will be delivered to a local community location for easy pick-up. Kits are loaned out for four weeks, giving your family or group plenty of time to explore, experiment, and discover. Each chest includes everything you need—except for common supplies like scissors, crayons, and markers.
3️⃣ Return & Repeat—On Your Schedule!
When your adventure is complete, simply return the kit and pick a new one! The best part? You can start and stop anytime! No long-term commitment—just fresh, exciting STEAM experiences whenever you're ready.
